The state Racing &amp; Wagering Board  voted unanimously on Wednesday to admonish the New York Racing  Association for overcharging bettors millions of dollars over the past  15 months.

Trifecta on the Shadwell with my top three and Gio Ponti it would have paid

I finally decided for the Weekend Handicap to focus on the Travers.   What I like about this race is we have a rematch of the Haskell, a couple of shippers and a handful of lightly raced 3YO’s that have been coming along nicely.  This mix usually spells an upset and what have they been calling Saratoga?  “The Graveyard of Favorites”.

“We are testing the waters in terms of takeout reduction,” said FELRC’s Chief Operating Officer Rick Cowan. “Management will assess the results on a regular basis.”

Nick said "a lot of tracks are dropping on some wagers, but we were the trendsetters."
